Rumor has it that the 10th anniversary of the Bead & Button Show was a record breaker; at least in class enrollments. As far as shoppers on the show floor I still remember the days when it seemed far more crowded, but I still had a good show. New accounts, new connections and I carried my silver plated components this year along with my solid sterling and they were a big hit.
I would like to thank A.R. (you know who you are) for running my booth this year and for all the hard work that made this show easier on me. It was so nice to walk the show and do business and know my booth was in very good hands. THANK YOU!
As promised please enjoy the photo parade of the 10th annual Bead & Button Show in Milwaukee, WI and the wonderful folks that make it so.
Third floor (show floor level) of the Midwest Center (soon to be the Frontier Center). Love all the windows and angles of light and openness.
Meet the teachers night was crazy crowded and buzzing! This photo shows only half of this room! It's amazing the talent that was in this room....

Beaming & budding: Designer, Author and Crystal ambassador Krystal Wick beams with the next generation of budding designers!
After setting up the show we opened Thursday night with a preview for those taking classes. It makes for a long day but we always have fun on preview night. The show floor is full of the cream of the crop and not open to the general public until the following day. Shopping heaven.
I re-designed my booth this year and gave it a new color and new look bought a big spinner peg hook display thingy-jobby-do and it worked out well. What do you think?
The sign must be remade it's too shiny. I thought I was getting vinyl but nope.
My new neighbor up the isle Dallas Lovett and the ever popular Sam!
This beautiful woman Lenka Gayton of Raven's Journey travels (and is from) the Czech Republic where she mixes all the glass colors for their most amazing beads. If anyone has seen me shop at their booth in Tucson it would be a testament of how much I love Raven's Journey Beads and admire all the hard work put in by Lenka and husband Jamey.
My new favorite bead maker is the absolutely BRILLIANT (and I don't use the "B" word often) is Harold Williams Cooney (Studio for the New American Trade Bead) Harold is single handedly building the finest single-source collection of glass beads in the world!! Just ask him!
The only single purchase I made was at Harold's booth and he's my neighboring booth at the show!
Never enough time is spent with the warm, wonderful, and talented designer, creator, blogger and shop owner Andrew Thornton:
My other wonderful neighbors at the show Betcey & Mark from Beyond Beadery.
