In honor of Mother's Day I wish to acknowledge all the hearts beating on this day that have brought another into this world. For it is a fierce-some journey this motherhood is. Tis like someone took a cookie-cutter and stamped it out of the clothe of your heart and put it out there for the whole world to have at...put into the world to wander, wonder and grow. It can be very intense, indeed.
I thought I knew how to Love before I had children....I only thought I knew. Having and raising children has taught me Love, given me Love and shown me Love, and for this I am forever thankful and blessed.
On this Mother's Day I also wish to honor all the beautiful heart's that wanted to be mother's but could not for one reason or another. For some of the best hearts I know are these hearts. Left unfulfilled in this way they are ever finding ways to use the love they would have given a child to better themselves or this world...and we are better for knowing and being loved by them.
On this Mother's Day I also wish to honor all of the Father's that are raising the kids on their own, being both Father and Mother; and to all of the single parent Mothers in this world my heart goes out to you for this is a journey I can relate to, and it is not an easy path. You are some of the strongest
Mainly to those Mother's who have lost a child or who live with a sick or suffering child to you all the day's honors come. For you must be the strongest of the strong.
Last night was my son's prom, I was a proud and happy mother.

On this day I miss my beautiful daughter and my own Mom isn't doing well. Life isn't easy, not for sissy's.
As a Mother I have learned a few things a long the way. Here's a couple I will share with you:
It's all relatively straight forward this living...Decide upon what your purpose is in this life, then organize all your activities and experiences around this purpose.
The only thing you can control in this life are your thoughts, your feelings, and your actions, nothing more. So quit trying to control anything or anyone else. If you control these things the rest of your life will come under control.
You never know when your time is up so don't waste your time. Live and Love fully each day as if it is your last, for it just may be.
I could go on and on but would like to invite any and all to please leave a comment or email me with the favorite things you have learned, or maybe a favorite quote. Sharing these things is inspirational.
Happy Mother's Day and God Bless.
xoxoxo
