Hi just back from another round of meetings in Bentonville. Things went very well. On a side note...Who the heck knew they would have terrific sushi in Bentonville Arkansas? I would have never believed it but Scott Catan of Pat Catan /Darice Inc family fame has shown me the way...by treating the delightful Jill Ritchie and myself to a veritable sushi feast the night before our big meetings. Oh my gosh it was sooo good and we ate so much! Just got home last night...well I did...Scott and Jill got stuck spending an extra night away because their Cleveland flight was canceled due to weather. I enjoy traveling with Jill & Scott, they are terrific people, lots of fun and very good at what they do...did I mention that we have a lot of fun together?
Still finishing up my latest trend report on Tucson, CHA and the Academy Awards. Will get that done within this next week. I have been scamming on a new website idea with a couple of fabulous friends...more on that later. I am also working on a visual jewelry making method, as far as an educational concept. One that I hope will make things easier, especially for us visual learners and perhaps set me apart from the other educators in this market place. I'll keep you posted....as I develop it.
Todays unsolicited advice...always remember to speak up and ask for what you want in life, each and every day. Asking is important and practicing soon gets easier once you start doing so regularly. What I have begun to understand is that you will get the answer "Yes" more often than not. I ask life for what I want, I ask the people and companies I work with for what I want....the trick is knowing what you want...and being sure about it because most likely you will get what you want!
Until next time...
xoxo

Jill, if only we could learn that without having to go through so many things first... so much is about asking for what we want... and as you said, to be able to do that, we have to have at least some idea! Wonderful advice.
