In the past month I have relocated to a beautiful large old home in the country that was owned by a successful lifetime artist / sculptress, brilliant woman that I was privileged to know. This place is magical and like a paradise for me. Private with ponds and great beauty abounds.
It is big enough for a spacious in-the-house- beading / jewelry making studio but also has a separate BUILDING that houses the sculpture studios and gallery. I know! Crazy! (Crazy good).
Relocating has been insane after living in the same place for 22 years. How did I accumulate so much STUFF? I only brought with me that which I could not live without. Mainly my clothes, my kids keepsakes, my tools, studio stuff and materials. This in itself was enough trust me!
I thought it might be fun to give you a look inside the process as I put the new studio together. This is a lovely opportunity to try and get really organized and make a very nice space for myself. Thought you might enjoy watching it happen over a period of time via video. This will be my first attempt at anything video! (disclamer!)
I thought I would have had the studio all done and put together by now (ha ha ha) but as usual my schedule has not let up, if anything has become more hectic. I barely have time to get to this room to unpack. This is making me nutz because I cannot find anything I need and am making stuff on the dining room table, instead of eating there!
So what do you think? Wanna see if I can do this? Put together a beading/ jewelry making studio and record the process? Maybe you all can write in with helpful ideas. I for one am always open to good ideas...
So I am being brave here as this first video is really poorly done, I made the mistake of filming at night ...I will get better I promise! Have patience...better yet be encouraging! Well let's hope I can make it work now...never posted a video before!
I think it worked!
xoxo

Congrats on all of the new studio space. I can't wait to see what you do with it! What a fun and exciting challenge.
